Neocis, a leading medical equipment manufacturer, collaborated with Empire Office and Gensler to establish a cutting-edge workspace in Wynwood, Miami. The goal was to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing environment to enhance productivity. Flipping the specifications was a key factor in this project, as many of our alternative solutions were chosen to accommodate budgetary restraints. This project also incorporated 120-degree height-adjustable workstations within designated carpet islands, per the design intent from Gensler.

This project utilized manufacturers such as AMQ systems, Global conference tables, Geiger conference seating, and KI & Gus* cafe seating. Muraflex architectural wall solutions enhanced and complemented the overall design. Empire was able to meet both budgetary constraints and stringent timelines with our expert product knowledge, phased approach and proven best practices.

Empire Office teamed up with design firm HKS, Inc. to transform the 180,000 SqFt. Outpatient facility. This comprehensive patient and family center provides Orthopaedic & spinal care, physical therapy, imaging, ambulatory surgery, retail, café, and discovery research spaces.

Over six floors consist of ancillary, private offices, & workstations with products from various manufacturers including Steelcase, Coalesse, Sitonit, 9to5 Seating, OFS, and National Office Furniture among others. With Emory’s vision in mind to be a model of transformative practices and sustainable choices, Empire Office was thrilled to collaborate and develop an eco-friendly solution for this client.

Empire partnered with MSK and Perkins Eastman to complete the stunning David H. Koch Center, New York City’s largest freestanding cancer care center. The 750,000 square-foot, 23 floor, and LEED Gold-certified healing center truly advances on what a healthcare center is. Borrowing elements from hospitality environments, like natural lighting, sustainable materials, and collaboration spaces, the Koch center is filled with touchpoints that help MSK provide groundbreaking healthcare services while maintaining a peaceful and calming atmosphere for patients, their family, and the MSK staff.

Empire facilitated the procurement, project management, delivery, and installation of the entire project, which included over 100 ancillary manufacturers. We also partnered with Fabricate to create custom millwork pieces that helped infuse this space with MSK’s design vision and brand.

Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Manhattan based non-profit cancer center, recently partnered with Empire Office to design and furnish their new two-floor cancer center hospital in Bergen, NJ. MSK’s goal was to transform their existing corporate headquarters into a relaxing and comforting care center closer to their patients. Empire helped select various ancillary manufacturers to equip several waiting areas with a resimerical feel to help patients and visiting family feel at home during their stay. The new hospital now also includes private infusion rooms to allow patients privacy and relaxation while receiving treatment.
