Empire Office partnered with design firm A+I to deliver a high-end office experience for this growing financial firm. We assisted with the procurement, delivery, and installation services for all workstations, private offices, ancillary, and custom banquettes & wardrobes produced in-house through Fabricate.
The result for this client was a cost-effective solution that reflects a sophisticated, airy, and resimercial office space for all employees and visiting partners.
In collaboration with the well-versed design firm Ted Moudis, our team at Empire helped procure and deliver over four floors and 61,000 square feet of workstations, private office solutions, and a mix of ancillary & lockers for this international advisory firm.
The mixed-use space offers private lounging, collaboration areas, conferencing rooms, and a large cafe incorporating pieces from manufacturers such as Blu Dot, Hightower, Naughtone, OFS, Steelcase, Stylex, and others. Other distinguishing features of this project include open-plan benching solutions, custom-built by Innovant, that allow plenty of space to re-energize and refresh.
The new flagship office for this multinational financial services company spans eight floors and over 500,000 square feet in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood. Designed by The Switzer Group and an Interior Design Magazine Best of Year finalist, the result is a contemporary, high-performance workplace meant to support the future growth and innovation of the company. Empire Office proudly worked with over 20 manufacturer partners to achieve the desired aesthetic while driving cost savings and maintaining product quality. Various-sized conference rooms and meeting spaces are distributed across the office, providing different areas for team members to congregate and collaborate. Empire worked with Steelcase to create the dedicated workspaces, featuring custom 120-degree Ology workstations that accommodate approximately 200 users per floor. Additional custom pieces include eucalyptus wood conference tables by MASHstudios and various custom ancillary pieces from Brooklyn-based Manufacturer Mark Jupiter.
Empire Office joined forces with MKDA to activate Bolton Global’s vision for their newly expanded offices located in the Four Seasons Hotel building in Brickell, Miami’s Financial District. A wealth management company, Bolton’s new space boasts sophistication in both the design and furniture selections, while also paying homage to the vibrant culture of the city of Miami, with most of the furniture finishes in black or white with pops of tropical colors throughout the office. Geometric black, white and grey coffee tables made by expert millwork provider, Fabricate, can be found upon entering the office in the reception area. They were custom-built to fill a gap in the scope and offered a shorter lead time.
A large pantry area functions as the heart of the space, with long wooden CB2 tables and an array of Industry West spindle back chairs for coworkers to gather and enjoy breaks together. Multiple added conference rooms and offices allow for private conversations, with glass sliding doors to uphold transparency and over 60 OFS Staks workstations are scattered throughout the space, supporting the need for heads-down work in the open area.
Even though the project was installed during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 amid many manufacturer shutdowns and delays, we were able to utilize our strong vendor relationships and strategic thinking to stay on track with both the budget and timeline for a successful and beautiful completion.
The Raine Group, a global integrated merchant bank, collaborated with Gensler and Empire Office to design and furnish their new NYC headquarters in Park Avenue Tower. The space is bright and open with many furniture pieces featuring a mix of materials, including concrete, solid oak, and blackened steel finishes. Empire and Gensler partnered with various ancillary manufacturers to complete the space, such as MASH Studios, Restoration Hardware, Vitra, Gus*Modern, Blu Dot, Mark Jupiter, and West Elm, to name a few.

Empire and Gensler collaborated on the two buildings that now house the company’s growing operations and created a fresh open office environment that features 120-degree workstations, cafeterias, game rooms, training rooms, a health and wellness center, various breakout areas and more. Steelcase Answer workstations provide an airy feel for employees while also limiting noise exposure throughout the floor. Additionally, Hamilton lockers allow employees to store their personal belongings, reducing workspace clutter.

The resulting space promotes the client’s brand, ties into the local community in which the office resides and provides choice and variety of space for the employees. Featured manufacturers include Steelcase, Coalesse, Nienkamper, Prismatique and Boss.
