Empire Office teamed up with Interior Architects to create a warm and inviting workplace for the Miami-based company, Bakerly. The baked goods company is known for its authentic French recipes and high-quality products, which inspired the look and feel of the overall space. Completed in 2021, Bakerly encompasses over 16,000 square feet of space, including Steelcase workstations & private offices, conference rooms, and ancillary from various manufacturers such as Coalesse, AMQ, Sandler Seating, BluDot, and Rouillard. Added amenities include a full cafe and gaming area.

Empire Office and Interior Architects worked together to provide unique design features for Bakerly’s new space, such as a three-dimensional utensil mural and rolling pin room divider.

International meal-kit company, HelloFresh approached ENV and Empire Office to design and furnish their new 2-floor office in downtown Manhattan. The ever-expanding e-service company sought to create an environment that would accommodate their young and growing workforce and ensure that company culture surrounded them in their day-to-day tasks. Brand colors were incorporated throughout the furniture selections, as well as within the custom-built open telephone booths created by expert custom millwork provider, Fabricate, creating a seamless look throughout the space. The unique office also pays tribute to the company’s focus on food with a commercial “test kitchen” located upon entry. Empire coordinated with various manufacturers to achieve HelloFresh’s desired aesthetic such as Uhuru for the workstations and custom, live-edge conference tables along with ESI, Steelcase, Via, Keilhauer, Bernhardt, Blu Dot, Materia, DWR, Design Public, BuzziSpace, Dauphin, Narbutas, Kimball and Allermuir.

Empire delivered a unique ancillary-filled space for the headquarters of this well-known brand powerhouse. Partnering with Perkins+Will, we transformed the closed office/workstation environment into an open hoteling workspace that encourages movement and collaboration. We introduced unique product lines such as West Elm Workspace and MASH Studios that helped meet the client’s overall budget requirements and provided a resimercial style with custom, unique elements built in. The project included more than 1500 workstations, 25 conference rooms, and over 30 collaborative vignettes.
