Knight Foundation

Empire Office collaborated with the Miami-based team at OTJ Architects in the 20,000 square foot space for the national non-profit arts and journalism organization, the Knight Foundation. Empire procured, delivered, and installed the workstations, glass walls, seating, and casegoods in the thoughtfully designed office located in the heart of Coconut Grove, Miami. The space was primarily outfitted with Steelcase, while using a handful of other manufacturers such as Bernhardt and Stylex for casegoods.

This project was centered around the client’s priority of ergonomics. Keeping in mind the open plan and clean aesthetic, a significant amount of glass paneling and walls were utilized. The glass walls were intentionally positioned to showcase the client’s large, colorfully curated art collection that was arranged throughout the space.
