For this high-profile legal client, Empire teamed up with G. Alvarez to deliver a refined, functional, and cost-conscious workspace in Miami, Florida. As part of a standardized approach across all their offices nationwide, an Estelle solution was selected to provide consistency in design, quality, and function. To achieve a high-end aesthetic at a lower cost, wood grain laminate finishes were specified, delivering the feel of natural wood without exceeding budget constraints. Our creative studio team value-engineered various ancillary pieces to meet budget goals. A key selection was swapping an Andreu World chair for the Connubia Tuka, an alternative that maintained the desired look and feel, all while reducing costs by nearly 40%. In the boardroom, space was optimized by eliminating a few chairs, creating a more comfortable meeting environment.

The installation phase presented challenges, particularly due to general contractor delays compressing the already tight 4-week timeline to just 2 weeks, creating additional pressure to meet the client’s critical move-in date. In response, we doubled our crew and worked overtime, ensuring the installation was completed on time without compromising quality. Despite some logistical hurdles, our strategic planning and problem-solving allowed us to meet the client’s needs while maintaining the elevated design aesthetic they envisioned.
